    Investigation of the Relationship Between Psychological Capitals and Work Stress of Academic Staff Working in Faculty of Sports Sciences

    This study aims to examine the relationship between psychological capital and job stress of academic staff working in sports sciences faculties. The "psychological capital scale" was used to examine the psychological capital status of the academic staff working in the faculties of sports sciences. The "work stress scale" was used to examine the job stress status of academic staff working in sports science faculties. After the information of the collected data was processed into the SPSS program, the Mann-Whitney U test was used for some relational comparisons and the Kruskal Wallis H test for some relational comparisons. According to the results of multiple comparisons of the job stress scale, psychological capital scale and sub-dimension averages according to the title variable of the participants, in the psychological capital scale self-efficacy sub-dimension, Assoc. Dr. Participants with the title of Res. See. and Dr. Instructor It is seen that they have a statistically significantly higher mean rank than the participants with the title of member. As a result of the comparison of the job stress scale, psychological capital scale and sub-dimension averages according to the working age variable of the participants, a statistically significant difference was found between the groups in the psychological capital scale self-efficacy sub-dimension. According to the results of multiple comparisons, it is seen that participants with a working age of 16-20 years in the psychological capital scale self-efficacy sub-dimension have a statistically significantly higher mean rank than participants with a working age of 1-5 years. © Author(s).
