Article Compactifications and F-Spectral Spaces(Yarmouk Univ, Deanship Research & Graduate Studies, 2014) Elmali, Ceren Sultan; Ugur, TamerIf X is T-3, it is showed that the Fan-Gottesman compactification of X can be embedded into compactification (X* ; k) of X obtaining by a combined approach of nets and open filters. By F-spectral, we mean a topological space X such that the Fan-Gottesman compactification of X is a spectral space. We give necessary and sufficient conditions on X in order to get F-spectral.Article Düğümlerle Eşlenen Bitopolojiler Üzerine Bir Çalışma(2023) Elmalı, Ceren Sultan; Yalaz, Ferit; Ugur, TamerLiteratürde, düğüm digraf notasyonu olarak isimlendirilen bir yöntem yardımıyla bazı düğümlerle bitopolojiler eşlendi. Bu bitopolojileri elde etmek için düğüm grafları ve quasi pseudo metrik uzaylar kullanıldı. Quasi pseudo metrikler yardımıyla bir küme üzerinde iki yeni topoloji elde edildi. Bu sayede bazı düğümler ile bitopolojiler arasında bir eşleme kurulmuş oldu.Yazarlar “Düğümlerle eşlenen bitopolojiler verildiğinde, düğümün kendisi elde edilebilir mi?” sorusuna cevap aradılar ve bir yöntem verdiler. Bu bahsedilen yöntem 6 adımdan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise düğüm digraf notasyonun tersinin, Alexander-Briggs notasyonuna göre 3(1), 5(1), 5(2), 6(1), 6(2), 7(1), 7(2), 7(3), 8(1), 8(2), 8(3), 9(1), 9(2), 9(3), 10(1), 10(2), 10(3) düğümleri için sağlandığı detaylı bir şekilde gösterilmektedir.Article Fan-Gottesman Compactifications and Stone Space(Yildiz Technical University, 2019) Elmali, Ceren Sultan; Ugur, TamerA Stone space is a zero dimensional, compact and T-0 - topological space. Also it is called Boolean space. There are a lot of methods for obtainnig compact space. Aleksandrov, Stone-Cech, Wallman and FanGottesman compactification are four of them. In this work, we obtained that a bitopology is associated with any knot k(m), where k is crossing points of knot and m = 1,2 by using quasi-pseudo metrics on the vertices of a digraph which is called knot digraph by us, when we consider relation between the knot and its graph (knot digraph notation). In this work, we have developed a method that we called reverse of knot digraph notation to find out which knot belongs to when a bitopology associated with the knot is given.
