| gperson.biography | HILAL KOC POLAT was born in Erzurum, Türkiye, in 1990. She received the B.Sc. (Tech.), the M.Sc. (Tech.), and the D.Sc. degrees in Elec trical and Electronics Engineering from Atatürk University, Erzurum, Türkiye, in 2013, 2015, and 2020, respectively. From 2014 to 2020, she was a research assistant at Erzurum Technical University. She has been working as an assistant professor at Erzurum Technical University since 2020. The PhD thesis topic was frequency reconfigurable mi crostrip patch antennas, which focused on circuit concepts and the transmis sion line equivalent model. Later, in addition to microstrip patch antennas being designed in broadband and compact structure, she worked on THz ablation systems, THz waveguides, and orbital angular momentum waves. | |
