This project covers the archaeological surface survey to be conducted in the İkizdere, Çamlıhemşin, and Hemşin districts of Rize province in 2025, under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okay Pekşen. Authorized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in accordance with Law No. 2863, the primary objective of the survey is to identify and document movable and immovable cultural and natural assets within the region. The fieldwork will be carried out under the supervision of Ministry experts and in cooperation with local authorities to contribute to the historical and cultural inventory of the Black Sea region.
