Abstract
Amaç: Bu araştırmada, 'Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Olimpik Değer ve Paralimpik Olimpiyatları Farkındalıklarının Spor ve Farklı Değişkenlere Göre İncelenmesi' amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Bu araştırmanın evrenini, 2024/2025 eğitim-öğretim döneminde Erzurum Teknik üniversitesinde aktif öğrenimine devam eden öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem ise çalışmaya gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden ve evren içinde erişilebilir olan 42 kadın 68 erkek toplam 110 Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada, iki bölümden oluşan bir anket formu kullanıldı. Hazırlanan bu anket, öğrencilere yüz yüze (sınıf ortamında) gerekli izinler alındıktan sonra uygulandı. Veriler SPSS 26.0 Windows paket programı ile analiz edildi. Bağımsız değişkenin kategori sayısına bağlı olarak ikili gruplarda Bağımsız Örneklem t-Testi, çoklu gruplarda ise Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) ile Posthoc testlerinden LSD testi kullanıldı. Sonuçlar p<0.05 anlamlılık düzeyine göre yorumlandı. Bulgular: Araştırma verileri incelendiğinde olimpik değerler ölçeği alt boyutlarında öğrencilerin gelir düzeyi değişkenine göre bir asgari ücret ve altı lehine anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu, paralimpik olimpiyatları farkındalık ölçeğinde ise cinsiyet değişkeninde erkek öğrenciler lehine, sınıf düzeyi değişkeninde 3.sınıflar lehine ve spor yapma durum değişkeninde ise spor yapanlar lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Bu sonuçlar, öğrencilerin gelir düzeyi, cinsiyet, eğitim seviyesi ve sporla ilgili katılım düzeylerinin olimpik değerler ve paralimpik olimpiyat farkındalığı üzerinde önemli etkiler yarattığını ortaya koymaktadır. Purpose: In this study, it is aimed to 'Investigate the Awareness of Sports Sciences Faculty Students on Olympic Values and Paralympic Olympics According to Sports and Different Variables'. Method: The universe of this study consists of students who continue their active education at Erzurum Technical University in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample consists of a total of 110 students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, 42 female and 68 male, who agreed to participate in the study voluntarily and were accessible within the universe. A questionnaire form consisting of two parts was used in the study. This prepared questionnaire was applied to the students face to face (in a classroom environment) after obtaining the necessary permissions. The data were analyzed with SPSS 26.0 Windows package program. Depending on the number of categories of the independent variable, Independent Sample t-Test was used in paired groups, and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and LSD test from Posthoc tests were used in multiple groups. The results were interpreted according to the significance level of p<0.05. Findings When the research data were examined, it was determined that there were significant differences in favor of minimum wage and below in the sub-dimensions of the Olympic values scale according to the income level variable of the students, and that there were statistically significant differences in favor of male students in the gender variable, in favor of 3rd graders in the grade level variable and in favor of those who do sports in the sports variable in the Paralympic Olympics awareness scale. Conclusion: These results reveal that the income level, gender, education level and participation levels of the students in sports have significant effects on Olympic values and Paralympic Olympics awareness.
