Jiddu Krishmanurti'nin Eğitim Anlayışı

Abstract

Geçmişte olduğu gibi bugün de eğitim birey ve toplum için en önemli meselelerden birisidir ve tarih boyunca pek çok düşünür bu meseleye eğilmiş, etkili görüşler ortaya koymuştur. Hindistan kökenli çağdaş düşünür Jiddu Krishnamurti'nin (1895-1986) de önemli gördüğü ve üzerinde durduğu meselelerden birisi eğitimdir. Zira Krishnamurti'ye göre, eğitim insani varoluşa en dolgun anlamını veren özgürlüğü sağlar. Bu çerçevede mevcut eğitime ilişkin sorunlaştırmalarda bulunan Krishnamurti, insanın niçin eğitim gördüğü, eğitimden neden sadece edebiyat, tarih, coğrafya gibi beşerî bilimler veya fizik, kimya, biyoloji, matematik gibi bilim dallarının öğretiminin anlaşıldığı, bireylerin durmaksızın bilgilerle donatıldığı, eğitim denilen şeyin ne olduğu vb. sorular sorar. Krishnamurti'ye göre, eğitimin ve eğitimli olmanın anlamının ne olduğunu ve niçin eğitimli olmak istendiği bilinmeden uygulanan her sistemde eğitim, amaç olmaktan öte araç olmakta ve gerçek eğitim olamamaktadır. Günümüzde eğitimin çok daha farklı amaçlarla öğrenmeye etki ettiği, sınavları geçmek, diploma sahibi olmak, derece almak, iş sahibi olmak, vb. durumlarla toplumsal değerler olarak kabul edilen para, konum, prestij, güç uğruna araçsallaştırıldığı görülmektedir. Bu duruma özgürlük adına itiraz eden Krishnamurti 'doğru' olarak nitelendirdiği eğitim anlayışını ileri sürer. Bu araştırmada Dünya Öğretmeni olarak nitelendirilen Jiddu Krishnamurti'nin eğitim anlayışı ve felsefi zemini ele alınıp tartışılarak günümüze yansımalarını ve işlevselliğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmaktadır. As in the past, education is one of the most important issues for the individual and society today, and throughout history, many thinkers have focused on this issue and put forward effective views. Education is one of the most important issues that Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986), a contemporary thinker of Indian origin, considered important and emphasized. For, according to Krishnamurti, education provides the freedom that gives human existence its fullest meaning. In this context, Krishnamurti, who makes problematizations about the current education, explains why people are educated, why education is understood from history, mathematics, geography or another branch of science, why individuals are filled with knowledge; what is education, etc. asks questions. According to Krishnamurti, in every system implemented without knowing the meaning of education and being educated and why one wants to be educated, education becomes a tool rather than a goal and cannot be real education. Today, education affects learning for many different purposes, such as passing exams, having a diploma, getting a degree, having a job, etc. It is seen that he instrumentalizes the situation for the sake of money, position, prestige and power, which are accepted as social values. Objecting to this situation in the name of freedom, Krishnamurti puts forward the understanding of education that he describes as 'correct'. In this research, it is aimed to reveal the reflections and functionality of Jiddu Krishnamurti, who is described as the World Teacher, by discussing and discussing the educational understanding and philosophical ground.
