Abstract
Divan şiiri geleneğinde mesnevî nazım şekliyle yazılan eserler, Tanzimat öncesi roman ve hikâyenin unsurlarını barındırmaktadır. Bu nedenle mesnevî şeklinde yazılan eserlerde zaman, mekân ve kişi fonksiyonları belirgindir. Mesnevîlerde mekâna yönelik dikkatlerden devrin sosyokültürel yaşamını, karakterlerin ruhsal durumu tayin edebiliriz. Bu çerçevede, çalışmada mekân-karakter ilişkisinde beş farklı aşk mesnevîsinin incelemesi yapıldı. Mesnevîler kronolojik sıraya göre ele alındı. Ayrıca olay çevresinde gelişen metinlerde mekân ve karakter kavramları teorik yönden açıklandı. Mekân ve karakter tasnifleri yapıldı. Çalışmamızın uygulama bölümünü teşkil eden mekân-karakter ilişkisi başlıklı ikinci bölümünde mesnevîlerden örnek beyitler alınarak mekânın karakterle ilişkisi tespit edildi. Bu bölümde mekânın fiziksel, algısal ve kimliksel özellikleri vurgulandı. Aşk ilişkilerinin temel çatışma oluşturduğu kapalı mekânların karakterler üzerindeki etkiler değerlendirildi. Açık ve geniş mekânların huzur, güven, neşe mekânları olduğu belirtildi. Hayali ve fantastik mekânların olay ve karakterlere yansımaları ele alındı. İn the tradition of Divan poetry, works written the mesnevi is verse contain the elements of the novel and story before Tanzimat. For this reason, time, place and person functions are evident in the works written in the form of mesnevi. İn the mesnevis, we can determine the sociocultural life of the era and the mental state of the characters. İn this study, it was examinined that five different love mesnevis within the space-character relationship. Mesnevi were handled in choronologiacal order. Also, it was explained that the space and character theoritically in the texts developed araund the event. İn the space-character relationship section, which constitutes the aplication part of our study, it was determined that its relationship with the character by taking sample couplets from the mesnevi.In this section, he emphasized the physical, perceptual and identity features of the space. The effects of closed spaces where love relationships constitute the basic conflict on the characters were evaluated. It was stated that open and wide spaces are places of peace, trust and joy. The reflections of imaginary and fantastic places on events and characters were discussed. Keywords: Love mesnevi, space, character, space-character relationship.
