Tercüme-i Envâr-ı Süheylî-i Kâtip Çelebi (1b-53a) Dil İncelemesi-Metin-Dizin

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Kâtip Çelebi'ye (1017/1609-1067/1657) ait olduğu düşünülen esasen bir ahlâk ve siyaset kitabı olan Tercüme-i Envâr-ı Süheylî-i Kâtip Çelebi adlı tercüme eserin neşri yapılmış ve dil özellikleri incelenmiştir. İbnü'l-Mukaffa'nın Arapça tercümesinden Anadolu Türkçesine çevrilerek oluşturulmuş eserin nüshası incelenerek bir yüksek lisans tezi çalışması yapılmıştır. Çalışma; imla özellikleri, dil incelemesi, metin ve dizin-sözlük olmak üzere dört bölümden meydana gelmektedir. Giriş kısmında, hikâyecilik ve tercüme geleneği, eserin kaleme alındığı Klasik Osmanlı Türkçesi dönemi, dönemin çeviri eserlerinde Arapça ve Farsçanın yeri ile Anadolu ve Klasik Osmanlı Türkçesi üzerinde bıraktığı etkiler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Devamında eserin nüsha tavsifi yapılarak kim tarafından kaleme alındığı, kime ithaf edildiği ve ne zaman istinsah edildiğine değinilmiştir. Daha sonra esas kitabın genel hatları üzerinde durularak geçmişten bu güne kadar yapılan diğer çevirileri ve nüshalarına yer verilmiştir. İnceleme bölümünde, sözcüklerin imla, ses ve şekil özelikleri metinden örneklerle gösterilmiştir. Metin bölümünde, eser transkribe edilmiştir ve son olarak dizin bölümünde metnin sözlüğü oluşturularak çalışma tamamlanmıştır.

In this study, the translation work titled Tercüme-i Envâr-ı Süheylî-i Kâtip Çelebi, which is thought to belong to Katip Çelebi (1017/1609-1067/1657), which is essentially a book of ethics and politics, was published and its linguistic features were examined. A master's thesis was prepared by examining the copy of the work, which was created by translating it from the Arabic translation of İbnü'l-Mukaffa into Anatolian Turkish. The study consists of four sections: spelling features, language analysis, text and index-dictionary. In the introduction, information is given about the tradition of storytelling and translation, the Classical Ottoman Turkish period in which the work was written, the place of Arabic and Persian in the translated works of the period and the effects it left on Anatolian and Classical Ottoman Turkish. In the continuation, the copy of the work is described, and it is mentioned who wrote it, to whom it was dedicated and when it was copied. Then, the general outline of the main book was emphasized and other translations and copies made from the past to the present were included. In the review section, the spelling, sound and shape features of the words were shown with examples from the text. In the text section, the work was transcribed and finally, the study was completed by creating a dictionary of the text in the index section
