Demokrat Parti' Nin İktidara Gelişinin Erzurum'a Yansıması (Erzurum Gazetesi'ne Göre)

Abstract

'Demokrat Parti'nin İktidara Gelişinin Erzurum'a Yansıması (Erzurum Gazetesi'ne Göre)' konulu tez çalışmasında, çok partili hayata geçiş döneminde Erzurum'da meydana gelen siyasi olaylar incelenmiştir. Cumhuriyet'in ilanından 1950 yılına kadar olan süreçte Türkiye'de yaşanan siyasi çalkantılar toplumsal yaşamda CHP iktidarına yönelik bir tepki oluşmasına sebep olmuştur. Çok partili hayata geçişle birlikte kurulan DP, CHP iktidarı için bir tehlike oluşturmuştur. DP'nin teşkilatlanması ve yönünü doğu illerine çevirmesiyle CHP'nin rakibi konumuna gelmiş ve bu dönemde iki parti arasında iktidar mücadelesi yaşanmıştır. DP girdikleri ilk seçimde birçok il ve ilçelerde seçimleri kazanmıştır. Bu illerden biri de Erzurum'dur. DP'nin Erzurum'da iktidara gelmesiyle Erzurum'un siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik hayatında birçok gelişme yaşanmıştır. Erzurum'da yaşanan bu gelişmeler basına da yansımıştır. Bu dönemde Erzurum'da yayınlanmakta olan Erzurum gazetesinde, 1950 yılında yapılan seçimler sonucunda DP'ni iktidara gelmesinin Erzurum'da siyasi ve toplumsal yaşama nasıl yansıdığı ele alınmıştır.

In this thesis, Reflection of the Democratic Party's coming to power in Erzurum, the political events that occurred in Erzurum (according to Erzurum Newspaper) during the transition to the multi-party system examined. The political turmoil experienced in Turkey in the period from the proclamation of the Republic until 1950 caused a reaction to the CHP power in its social life. DP, that founded with the transition to a multi-party system created a danger towards CHP. By the organization of the DP and its redirection towards the eastern provinces, it became the CHP's rival and there was a struggle for power between two parties. One of these provinces was Erzurum. There were many developments in the political, social and economic life in Erzurum when DP came to power in Erzurum. These developments in Erzurum reflected in the media too. The Erzurum newspaper which published after the elections held in 1950, discussed how DP came to power reflected the political and social life in Erzurum.
