Yeni Tarihselcilik Açısından Gürsel Korat'ın Romanları Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türk edebiyatında özellikle son dönemde kendine önemli bir yer edinen Gürsel Korat'ın Zaman Yeli, Güvercine Ağıt ve Kalenderiye romanlarından oluşan Çiftaslan serisi ve diğer dört romanını postmodern tarih - yeni tarihselcilik açısından değerlendirmeye çalıştık. Bu tezin amacı günümüz yazarlarının da tercih ettiği edebiyatımıza yakın zamanda giren postmodern tarih kavramının Gürsel Korat'ın romanlarındaki işlenişini tespit etmektir. Bu nedenle çalışmada, Gürsel Korat'ın romanlarında kullandığı tarihi zemin değerlendirilmiş, zamanı, mekânı, şahısları ve imgeleri kullanması yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada 1980 sonrası Türk romanında tarihsel konuları eserlerinde işleyen Gürsel Korat'ın romanları Yeni tarihselci bakış açısıyla incelenmiştir. Postmodern tarih kuramıyla ilişkili olan Yeni tarihselci anlayışın Gürsel Korat'ın romanlarındaki yansımaları değerlendirilmiştir. Tarihin postmodernizm içindeki konumundan hareketle oluşturulan geleceğe akan zaman içinde yeni olanın gücünün anlaşılması bakımından Gürsel Korat'ın ve romanlarının postmodern tarih - yeni tarihselcilik akımındaki yeri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. We tried to evaluate Gürsel Korat's, who has gained an important place especially in Turkish literature recently, Çiftaslan series consisting of Zaman Yeli, Güvercine Ağıt and Kalenderiye novels and four other novels in terms of postmodern history-new historicalism. The aim of this thesis is to determine the processing of the concept of postmodern history, which has recently entered our literature, which is preferned by the writers of today, in the novels of Gürsel Korat. For this reason, the historical ground used by Gürsel Korat in his novels was evaluated and his use of time, place, people and images were interpreted. In this study, the novels of Gürsel Korat, who dealt with historical issues in the Turkish novel after 1980, were examined with a New historicist perspective. The reflections of the New Historicist understanding related to the postmodern theory of history on Gürsel Korat's novels were evaluated. In terms of understanding the power of the new in time flowing into the future created from the position of history in postmodernism the place of Gürsel Korat and his novels in the postmodern history-new historicalism current was tried to be determined.
