Basiret Gazetesi'ne Göre Prusya-Fransa Savaşı(1870-1871)

Abstract

Fransa-Prusya Savaşı, 19 Temmuz 1870 ile 10 Mayıs 1871 tarihleri arasında Fransa İkinci İmparatorluğu ile Prusya Krallığı arasında yapılmıştır. Uzun bir kuşatmanın ardından Paris, 28 Ocak 1871 tarihinde Almanlara teslim olmuştur. Söz konusu savaş III. Napolyon'un düşüşüne ve Fransız Üçüncü Cumhuriyeti'nin kurulmasına yol açarak İkinci Fransız İmparatorluğu'nun sonunu getirmiştir. Ayrıca Fransa-Prusya Savaşı, Alman birliğinin kurulmasında en önemli ve son aşamayı oluşturmuştur. Savaşın yaşandığı dönemde Osmanlı Devleti'nde önemli bir yayın organı olan Basiret gazetesinde savaşla ilgili çok sayıda haber yer almıştır. Gazetenin önemli yazarlarından olan Polonyalı Hayrettin makalelerinde savaşı değerlendirmiştir. Bu haberler ve makalelerde gazete açıkça Prusya taraftarlığı yapmıştır. Polonyalı Hayrettin, Prusya-Fransa savaşını, Prusya ve Rusya ilişkisi üzerinden değerlendirmiştir. Rusya'nın, Prusya'nın güçlenmesinden rahatsız olduğunu düşünen Hayrettin, Rusya ile Osmanlı Devleti'nin zaten iki düşman olduğunu ve bu nedenle Osmanlı Devleti ile Prusya arasında ittifak olması gerektiğini savunmuştur. Polish Hayrettin evaluated the Prussian-French war over the relationship between Prussia and Russia. Hayrettin, who thought that Russia was uncomfortable with the strengthening of Prussia, argued that Russia and the Ottoman Empire were already two enemies and therefore there should be an alliance between the Ottoman Empire and Prussia.
