Çorum'da Yaşayan Geleneksel Meslekler Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Geleneksel meslekler, toplum hafızasında yer edinmiş, uzun yıllar usta-çırak kültürü ile gelecek nesillere bilgi aktarımı sağlanmış sanat kollarından oluşmaktadır. Toplumun karakteristik özelliklerinin dışa vurumu olarak değerlendirilen bu meslekler, kültür taşıyıcılığı noktasında geçmiş ile gelecek arasında köprü görevi görmektedir. Muhtevası uzun yıllar korunarak bu günlere değin ulaştırılan meslekler, son dönemde toplumumuzda görülen sosyal- kültürel yapının değişmesi sebebiyle unutulmaya yüz tutmuştur. Geleneksel meslekler içinde oluştuğu toplumun yaşayış ve düşünce tarzına ayna tuttuğundan Türk milletinin tarihi seyri, geçirdiği değişimler meslek kollarında açıkça görülmektedir. Milli değerlerin kayıt altına alınması, gelecekte kılavuz olarak kullanılabilmesi açısından geleneklerimiz ve bunlara bağlı oluşan geleneksel mesleklere kıymetle yaklaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Çorum'da yaşayan geleneksel meslekler; ham maddelerine göre beş başlık halinde ele alınmış ve saha çalışması eşliğinde elde edilen veriler dikkate sunulmuştur.

Traditional professions consist of branches of art that have a place in social memory and have been able to transfer knowledge to future generations through the master-apprentice culture for many years. These professions, which are considered as the expression of the characteristic features of the society, serve as a bridge between the past and the future in terms of carrying culture. Many of the professions, whose contents have been preserved for many years and have been preserved until today, are now almost forgotten due to the recent change in the socio-cultural structure in our society. In this study, traditional professions continued in Çorum province were identified and mostly their last representatives were interviewed. Our study consists of four main sections. In the first part, information about the literature review on the subject is given, and in the second part, explanations are made about the material and method. In the third section, basic concepts related to the research topic are discussed, while in the fourth section, detailed information is given about traditional professions that we have classified according to their raw materials. Practices and solution suggestions to ensure that traditional professions are not forgotten are also included.
